I need tips on how to choose a handbag that's right for me?

I went shopping today and had a hard time finding a handbag. I’m 16 & 4′ 11. Very short! But I want a bag that will be big enough to hold a water bottle and a few other things. What is one place that I can go for cute totes(canvas)? And can you suggest another purse that would go casually with everyday tshirts and jeans? Pictures and links would be extremely helpful

my advice is to get many bags (3 or 4) that you think you might like from somewhere inexpensive like forever 21, try them all out, wear them for a while, and like that you will discover which type is best for you! and then you can invest in a really nice bag that will last you a while and will fit your needs perfectly! good luck!
