Where is the Best Place to Buy Fake Handbags in New York, and how much would they cost?

I am going there this summer, and buying handbags will be one of the highlites of my trip. I have a friend who got a good quality fake chanel bag for $15, is that normal and where could you get them for that price? Thank you!
^^ Don’t worry, you’ll find ‘em. Guys with little booths on the street will have fake handbags and more for $ 5 at the lowest. Nothing gets higher then $15. I didn’t see anything above $10 when I went last summer. Have fun and experience the culture, it’s an amazing city.

When I visited NYC they were selling them at times square for $15 but you can probably bargain with it for cheaper.

Definitely walk down Canal Street. A,C,J,R,6… & other train lines stop there.
The thing about fake bags & watches is there’s a law (trying to discourage the knockoffs) that says that vendors can’t display the stuff curbside, so you’ll either walk by stores & see a sheet covering wares & know that its the fake stuff, or you’ll run into a little asian lady asking people if they want to see handbags. (There are PLENTY of these ladies around, you won’t even have to look out for them.) When you see one of these people, just let her lead you to the store where she works so you can see the knockoff bags.
While I’ve seen this a MILLION times, I have absolutely no idea how much they cost. What I can tell you is that you shouldn’t automaticaly accept the first price they give you. Chinatown is definitely an acceptable place to bargain.

CANAL STREET!!! they have little booths and selling fake things and also on the st. saying gucci prada fendi and they take u 2 these apartment places n uncover the walls n there are tons of fake s**t but be careful cuz u dnt noe what they gonna do so i wud jus advise u 2 buy from the booths n they also have fake bags jus ask em be like u have gucci bag or w.e. u want ummm also bargin with them if u gonna buy 1 or more things they give in as long they gettin $$$ ummm also check 2 make sure u can tell its close 2 real k cuz if it got 2 wrong C’s for CHANEL its fake!!! have fun shopping but 5th ave is so much better =)
